Allocation for 2025 Provincial Nominee Program

Canada's latest immigration plan signals significant changes in Permanent Residency (PR) allocations, with a strong emphasis on in-Canada applicants.

The target for in-Canada Focus stands at 82,980, suggesting more category-specific draws, including French-speaking, Skilled Trades, Healthcare, and CEC candidates.

However, a 50% reduction in Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allocations has raised concerns for provinces reliant on these programs. With the total PR target for all PNP programs set at 55,000, this reduction could reshape immigration pathways in 2025. Here's how this might impact the provinces and future draws.
